Amy Goldman Koss says she has been writing books for so long some of them are old enough to drive and vote.  She writes middle grade, teen and young adult fiction about friends and enemies, school, family and life. Russian-American artist and novelist Eugene Yelchin received the Tomie DePaola Illustration Award in 2006. In 2010 his illustrations for The Rooster Prince of Breslov received a National Jewish Book Award. In 2012, Won Ton, A Cat Tale Told in Haiku, which he illustrated, received close to fifty awards. Breaking Stalin’s Nose, a middle grade novel he wrote and illustrated received a Newbery Honor.
